自动化厌恶下的物流AICS策略

摘要:人工智能客户服务系统(AICS)正被在线平台广泛采用,但消费者的自动化厌恶可能削弱其应用效果。本文以由一个平台和两家承运商组成的平台供应链为背景构建博弈模型,考察消费者自动化厌恶、服务质量敏感度、AICS使用费率等因素对平台AICS投入和承运商采纳决策的影响。结果显示:首先,在单边采纳AICS时,高使用费率反而激励平台加大投入,使三方收益均超越无采纳基准,出现三方共赢局面。其次,在双边采纳AICS时,高费率难以带来收益提升,唯有费率足够低时平台和承运商才能共同受益。最后,强烈的消费者自动化厌恶会抵消AICS带来的收益,使平台和承运商得不偿失。研究凸显了AICS使用费的战略杠杆作用和消费者自动化厌恶的关键影响,为平台及承运商的AICS应用策略提供了启示。

Logistics AICS Strategy in the Context of Automation Aversion
Abstract:Artificial Intelligence Customer Service (AICS) systems are being widely adopted by online platforms; however, consumers\' automation aversion may undermine the effectiveness of their application. This study constructs a game-theoretic model in the context of a platform supply chain comprising one platform and two carriers, examining how factors such as consumers\' automation aversion, service quality sensitivity, and AICS usage rates influence the platform\'s AICS investment decisions and the carriers\' adoption choices.The results reveal three key findings:(1)In the case of unilateral AICS adoption (i.e., only one party adopts AICS), a high usage rate actually incentivizes the platform to increase investment. This leads to all three parties (the platform, the two carriers) achieving higher profits than the baseline scenario without AICS adoption, resulting in a win-win situation for all three parties.(2)In the case of bilateral AICS adoption (i.e., both carriers adopt AICS), a high usage rate fails to drive profit growth. Only when the usage rate is sufficiently low can both the platform and the carriers benefit collectively.(3)Strong consumers\' automation aversion offsets the profits brought by AICS, leaving both the platform and the carriers in a loss-making position (i.e., the costs of adoption outweigh the benefits).This research highlights the strategic leverage of AICS usage fees and the critical impact of consumers\' automation aversion. It provides practical insights for platforms and carriers to optimize their AICS application strategies.
