玉米自交系花粉活力全基因组关联分析

摘要:玉米花粉活力是玉米的重要性状,是决定玉米结实的关键因素。我们对598份玉米自交系的花粉活力进行测定,利用全基因组的432,957个SNP标记,采用全基因组关联分析策略定位出6个与玉米花粉活力相关的显著位点,并挖掘到8个与玉米花粉活力相关的候选基因,Zm00001d030132,Zm00001d044353,Zm00001d044355,Zm00001d044358,Zm00001d021924,Zm00001d021927,Zm00001d021934,Zm00001d046402,这些基因可能影响玉米花粉的活力。本研究为后续进一步探究花粉活力遗传原理和机制及分子辅助育种提供帮助。

Genome-wide association analysis of pollen viability in maize inbred lines
Abstract:Pollen viability is a crucial trait in maize, serving as a key determinant of successful seed setting. In this study, we evaluated the pollen viability of 598 maize inbred lines and conducted a genome-wide association study (GWAS) using 432,957 SNP markers. We identified six significant loci associated with maize pollen viability and discovered eight candidate genes potentially influencing pollen viability: Zm00001d030132, Zm00001d044353, Zm00001d044355, Zm00001d044358, Zm00001d021924, Zm00001d02192Genome-wide association analysis of pollen viability in maize inbred lines7, Zm00001d021934, and Zm00001d046402. These findings provide valuable insights into the genetic basis of pollen viability and offer potential targets for molecular-assisted breeding in maize. This study lays a foundation for further exploration of the genetic mechanisms underlying pollen viability and supports future breeding efforts.
