双频点谐波控制的混合连续类宽带功率放大器的设计

摘要:本文通过采用拓展后的混合连续类功放理论,基于所提出的双频点谐波控制网络,设计了一款混合连续类的宽带功率放大器。所提出的谐波控制网络可以通过对频带内两个频点的二次和三次谐波调控有效地控制整个宽频带功放的谐波阻抗。同时基波匹配网络的设计采用多频点阻抗优化的方法,在宽频带内将功率放大器的输入输出阻抗匹配到目标阻抗轨迹处。测试结果表明,该功放在1.1-3.5GHz,相对带宽为104%的频率范围内实现了漏极效率61.4%-74.9%,增益在10dB以上,输出功率大于39.7dBm的性能指标。

Design of a hybrid continuous class broadband power amplifier with dual-band point harmonic control
Abstract:In this paper, a broadband power amplifier of hybrid-continuum class is designed by adopting the extended theory of hybrid-continuum class amplifier based on the proposed harmonic control network of two frequency points. The proposed harmonic control network can effectively control the harmonic impedance of the amplifier in the whole wideband by regulating the second and third harmonics at two frequency points in the band. Meanwhile, the design of the fundamental matching network adopts a multi-frequency point impedance optimization method to match the input and output impedances of the power amplifier to the target impedance trajectory in a wide frequency band. The test results show that the amplifier achieves the performance specifications of drain efficiency of 61.4%-74.9%, gain above 10 dB, and output power greater than 39.7 dBm in the frequency range of 1.1-3.5 GHz with a relative bandwidth of 104%.
