Research on digital exclusion in the context of active aging: A Review and Prospect

Abstract：With the increasing aging of the population and the comprehensive arrival of the digital era, emerging digital technologies represented by mobile technology are believed to be able to promote the elderly to pursue a "Health, Participation and Security" active aging life. However, studies have found that some older people are more likely to be digitally excluded due to lack of digital access and digital skills. Therefore, how to reduce the digital exclusion of the elderly and accelerate the digital integration of the elderly is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of active aging. By systematically sorting out 109 domestic and foreign literatures in this field, this paper gives the definition of digital exclusion and digital exclusion in the context of active aging, and drawing on MOA theory and combining the three levels of gray divide and digital poverty, discusseResearch on Digital Exclusion in The Context of Active aging: A Review and Prospects the influencing factors from the perspectives of "digital access opportunity", "digital use ability" and "digital use motivation". In view of these factors, this paper further sorted out the coping methods. The research framework is summarized, and future research directions are discussed.
