酸性析氧反应中铱基催化剂的发展现状

摘要:利用可再生电能为动力的质子交换膜电解水(PEMWE)为清洁制氢提供了一条简便的途径。然而,强酸和强氧化的操作条件对PEMWE的发展提出了严峻的挑战。探索稳定且高效的阳极催化剂用于复杂的析氧反应(OER)迫在眉睫。目前,铱(Ir)基材料仍是酸性OER催化剂的主要候选者。然而,Ir物种昂贵且稀缺的特性严重阻碍了PEMWEs的广泛部署。因此有必要系统了解Ir基催化剂的最新研究进展,以启发研究人员设计高效稳定的Ir基催化剂,满足工业需求。本综述概括了Ir基金属、氧化物、钙钛矿和烧绿石四种典型的Ir基催化剂的发展现状,然后将催化剂的结构特征与其性能相关联,最后讨论了Ir基OER催化剂发展仍存在的问题并作出展望。

Development status of Iridium-based catalysts in acidic oxygen evolution reaction
Abstract:Proton exchange membrane electrolysis of water ( PEMWE ) powered by renewable electricity provides a simple way for clean hydrogen production.However, the operating conditions of strong acid and drastic oxidation pose severe challenges to the development of PEMWE. It is urgent to explore stable and efficient anode catalysts for complex oxygen evolution reaction ( OER ).At present, Iridium(Ir)-based materials are still the main candidates for acidic OER catalysts. However, the expensive and scarceof Ir species seriously hinders the widespread deployment of PEMWEs. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically understand the latest research progress of Ir-based catalysts to inspire researchers to design efficient and stable Ir-based catalysts to meet industrial needs. This review summarizes the development status of four typical Ir-based catalysts, including Ir-based metals, oxides, perovskites and pyrochlores. Then, the structural characteristics of the catalysts are related to their properties. Finally, the existing problems in the development of Ir-based OER catalysts are discussed and the prospects are made.
