基于5G NR的低轨卫星通信系统上行同步技术研究

摘要:低轨卫星通信与5G移动通信的融合是未来通信网络发展的重要方向之一。针对低轨卫星通信系统上行同步过程中残留载波频偏(Carrier Frequency Offset,CFO)较大的场景,基于可扩展的5G NR物理随机接入信道(Physical Random Access Channel,PRACH)前导格式,对CFO鲁棒的上行同步算法开展适用性仿真验证。在该算法中,充分考虑低轨卫星通信特性,设计5G NR前导序列格式选取原则,并将跳频方法引入前导序列的时频域结构设计中,采用差分处理方式开展CFO鲁棒的前导检测。仿真结果表明,CFO鲁棒的上行同步算法在基于5G NR前导格式的低轨卫星通信系统中具有很好的性能表现。在达到1%漏检率时的最小信噪比可降低1~2dB。

Research on uplink synchronization technology of LEO satellite communication system based on 5G NR
Abstract:The integration of LEO satellite communication and 5G mobile communicationis one of the most promising development directions of the future communication network. Aiming at the uplink synchronization process of LEO satellite communication systemwith large residual CFO, a CFO robust uplink synchronization algorithm is verified based on 5G NR PRACH preamble formats. In this algorithm, the characteristics of LEO satellite communication are considered, and the preamble format selection principle is designed. The CFO robust preamble detection based onthe frequency-hopping structure is carried out by differential processing. The simulation results show that the CFO robust uplink synchronization algorithm has a good performance in the LEO satellite communication system based on 5G NR preamble formats, and the minimum SNR can be reduced by 1~2dB at the missed detection rate of 1%.
