VR环境下总结策略对跨文化交际学习的影响研究

摘要:随着VR技术的发展,利用VR技术构建虚拟的外语教学场景、进行跨文化交际情境教学已成为趋势。但是,调查结果表明,现有的跨文化交际VR教学项目的部分功能与设计对学习者的学习造成了干扰。为探索优化VR环境下跨文化交际学习效果的措施,依据生成性学习理论,设置对比实验,借助量表收集被试学习过程中的认知负荷、心流体验及学习结果数据,探究总结策略对VR环境下跨文化交际学习的影响。研究发现:(1)总结策略对VR环境下跨文化交际学习时的认知负荷、心流体验及学习结果无显著影响;(2)在"VR"实验条件下,相关认知负荷对心流体验产生显著正向影响,无关认知负荷对心流体验产生显著负向影响;(3)在"VR+总结"实验条件下,除上述结论外,还发现相关认知负荷对学习结果产生显著正向影响,内在认知负荷对学习结果产生显著负向影响。基于以上研究结论,提出了相应的建议,以期改善VR环境下的跨文化交际学习的学习效果。

Research on the Influence of Summarizing Strategies on Cross-cultural Communication Learning in VR Environment
Abstract:With the development of VR technology, it has become a trend to use VR technology to build a virtual teaching scene for foreign language learning and conduct cross-cultural communication for situational teaching. However, the survey results have showed that some functions and designs of the existing cross-cultural communication VR project have interfered with learning. In order to explore the measures to optimize the effect of cross-cultural communication learning in VR environment, a comparative experiment was set up according to the generative learning theory, and the data of cognitive load, flow experience and learning results were collected by means of scales to explore the influence of summarizing strategies on cross-cultural communication learning in VR environment. The findings were as follows: (1) Summary strategy had no significant effect on cognitive load, flow experience and learning results in cross-cultural communication learning in VR environment; (2) Under the condition of "VR" experiment, germane cognitive load had a significant positive impact on flow experience, while extraneous cognitive load had a significant negative impact on flow experience; (3) Under the condition of "VR+ Summary" experiment, besides the above conclusions, it was also found that germane cognitive load had a significant positive impact on learning results, while intrinsic cognitive load had a significant negative impact on learning results. Based on the above research conclusions, some suggestions were put forward to improve the learning effect of cross-cultural communication learning in VR environment.
