最低工资标准提高对员工福利水平的影响研究

摘要:自20世纪90年代以来,我国逐步推行最低工资制度。随着该项制度的实施和最低标准不断上调,最低工资制度产生的经济效果逐渐显现,并且引起了广大学者的关注与思考。本文基于工业企业数据库和各省市最低工资数据,通过固定效应模型和双重差分法进行实证分析,研究最低工资标准提高对人均员工福利水平的影响,并对实证结果进行稳健性检验。并且将样本数据按照企业所属地区、企业资本密集度和所有制等标准细分,来探讨最低工资标准提高后,对不同分样本企业中人均员工福利水平的影响程度。研究结果表明:(1)从全样本角度来看,最低工资标准提高会使人均员工福利水平显著增加,最低工资标准每提高1%,人均员工福利水平就会显著增加0.159%。(2)就分样本数据而言,最低工资标准提高对人均员工福利水平均具有正向影响,只是因企业所在地区、资本密集度和企业所有制不同,在显著性和影响程度上有所区别。

The Effect of Raising Minimum Wage Standard onEmployee Welfare
Abstract:Since 1990 s, standard of minimum wage has been established one after another all over our country.With the implementation of the system and the increasing minimum standards, the impact of the minimum wage on social economy has gradually emerged and received great attention from scholars.In this paper, the effects of raising the minimum wage on employee welfare are studied by empirical analysis using the database of Chinese industrial enterprises, manually searched minimum wage data of various provinces and cities, and macroeconomic data, through the fixed effect model and the double difference method, and the robustness test is conducted on the empirical results.Secondly, the sample data are subdivided according to the standards of enterprise ownership, enterprise capital intensity and region to discuss the impact of raising the minimum wage on the welfare level of employees in different sample enterprises.The research results of this paper show that :(1) from the perspective of the whole sample, the increase of the minimum wage standard will significantly increase the level of employee welfare, and every 1% increase of the minimum wage standard will significantly increase the level of employee welfare by0.159%.(2) in the sub-sample study, the impact of raising the minimum wage on the level of employee welfare is statistically significant, but the impact degree and direction are different due to the differences in the enterprise\'s location, enterprise ownership and capital intensity.
