太赫兹波段液晶基可调全介质超材料吸波器的研究

摘要:近年来,全介质太赫兹超材料技术引起了广泛的关注,但是其较窄的带宽和严重的色散限制了其应用。而目前较少关于太赫兹可调谐全介质超材料的相关报道。本文提出了一种基于液晶的可调太赫兹全介质超材料吸波器。将超材料浸没在液晶溶液中,探讨了不同参数对超材料谐振特性的影响,并通过外加电场或磁场的方式来调节液晶的介电常数,进而改变超材料的谐振波长和吸波效果。仿真结果表明该可调全介质超材料能实现吸波效果从99.8%至62%和谐振波长从370.7微米至374.4微米的动态变化。

Tunable terahertz all-dielectric metamaterial absorber based on liquid crystal
Abstract:Recently,terahertz and metamaterial technology have attracted widespread attention,but its narrow bandwidth and severe dispersion limit its application.There are currently few reports on terahertz tunable all-dielectric metamaterials.This paper presents a tunable terahertz all-dielectric metamaterial absorber based on liquid crystal.The metamaterial is immersed in the liquid craystal,and the influence of different parameters on the resonance properties of this metamaterial is discussed.By applying an external electric field or a magnetic field,the permittivity of the liquid crystal can be changed,thereby changing the resonance wavelength and the absorption of the metamaterial.The absorption can change from 99.8% to 62% at the same wavelengthand the resonant wavelengths vary from 370.7μm to 374.4μm dynamically.
