改性丝瓜络纤维束特性研究

摘要::随着科技的发展,丝瓜络经过科学开发,已然成为一种新型的天然工业材料。为了使扩大丝瓜络纤维在轻质复合材料的增强材料中的应用,本论文采用氢氧化钠结合不同试剂对丝瓜络纤维进行联合处理,分别为5%碱-5%双氧水,10%碱-20%醋酸和18%碱-1.6%尿素,并对处理前后的丝瓜络纤维的吸湿性,拉伸强度进行了测试,通过纤维观察、称重法分别获得了处理前后天然丝瓜络纤维束的直径和质量;利用扫描电镜SEM观察了处理前后丝瓜络纤维束的表面形貌和横截面形貌特征;利用FITR获取了丝瓜络的红外图谱。实验表明,10%碱-20%醋酸和18%碱-1.6%尿素明显改善了丝瓜络纤维束的机械性能,其中10%碱-20%醋酸处理的丝瓜络纤维束获得最优良的拉伸强度。而经过5%碱-5%双氧水处理的丝瓜络纤维束获得了最小的吸湿率。另外,数据也表明丝瓜络纤维束经过碱处理后直径和质量减小,并且差异性减小。

Characterisation of alkali-treated luffa sponge fiber bundles
Abstract:The advancement in science and technology has led to luffa sponge (LS) being widely used as a natural materials in industrial application as its polyporous structure and light texture. In order to enlarge the utility of LS fibers as reinforcement of lightweight composite materials, the fibers were treated with 5% sodium hydroxide and 5% hydrogen peroxide (5%NaOH-5%H2O2 ), 10% sodium hydroxide and 20% acetic acid (10% NaOH-20% CH3COOH ) and 18% sodium hydroxide and 1.6% carbamide (18%NaOH-1.6% CO(NH2)2). The untreated and alkali-treated fibers were characterized and morphologically analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The moisture regain and tensile properties of untreated and alkali-treated LS fiber bundles were measured in accordance with ASTM standards. The results showed that the alkali treatment with 10% NaOH-20% CH3COOH and 18%NaOH-1.6% CO(NH2)2 significantly improved the mechanical properties of LS fiber bundles. The maximum strength was found with 10% NaOH-20% CH3COOH treated fiber bundles. Additionally, the data also indicated that the average diameter became uniform with the decrease in diameter and mass, and the moisture absorption of LS fiber bundles decreased with the alkali treatment.
