基于FPGA的图像形态学滤波算法及实现

摘要:本文分析传统的形态学滤波原理,并根据现有的顺序滤波方法,提出改进的形态学滤波算法,在合理地利用硬件资源的基础上,有效地挖掘算法内在的并行性,并在Xilinx公司Spartan-3E系列的FPGA上完成了实现。在设计过程中,通过改进算法和优化结构,提高了图像数据的处理速度。该算法通过实验进行仿真验证,实验结果表明,该算法在有效滤除图像中的微小噪声的同时,可节约硬件资源,满足高实时性的要求,适用于图像获取和预处理系统。

Implementation of Morphology Filtering Algorithm Based on FPGA
Abstract:In this paper analyses the principle of traditional morphology filtering algorithm, and puts forward the optimized morphology filtering algorithm, on the basis of reasonable utilization of hardware resources, mining algorithms intrinsic parallelism effectively, and finally implements in Xilinx Spartan-3E series on FPGA. In the process of design, the image data processing speed is enhanced by improving the algorithm and optimizing structure, also carries out simulation to verify the algorithm through the experiment, and the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm effectively filters out tiny noise in images at the same time, can save hardware resources, and satisfies the high real-time requirements, suitable for image acquisition and preprocessing system.
