黑翅土白蚁菌圃对采食工蚁的踪迹活性

摘要:黑翅土白蚁是一种重要的培菌白蚁,本文研究了菌圃、杂交鹅掌楸树干外表皮、密粘褶菌松木粉培养物提取液对黑翅土白蚁采食工蚁的踪迹活性。利用划线法测定采食工蚁对上、中、下层主巢菌圃与副巢菌圃的踪迹反应率与选择系数,选出最佳提取试剂;比较菌圃、杂交鹅掌楸外表皮、密粘褶菌松木粉培养物提取液对采食工蚁的踪迹活性;测定采食工蚁对菌圃提取液踪迹活性的浓度效应。正己烷提取液的踪迹活性最高,乙醇、丙酮和乙酸乙酯提取液之间踪迹活性呈现不规则变化,蒸馏水提取液踪迹活性最低;主巢下层菌圃踪迹活性物质含量高,为最佳提取材料;浓度(X)-踪迹反应率(Y)方程:y = 1.6958x3 - 13.346x2 + 30.137x + 33.409。黑翅土白蚁共生菌圃对采食工蚁具有明显的踪迹活性,踪迹活性强度显著高于采食工蚁林间采集材料(杂交鹅掌楸树干外表皮),与密粘褶菌松木粉培养物相近。主巢下层菌圃踪迹活性最高,主巢上层菌圃次之,主巢中层菌圃和副巢菌圃最低,但相互之间差异不显著。正己烷为最佳提取溶剂。采食工蚁对正己烷提取液踪迹活性反应的浓度区间为0.125 CU-1.00 CU。

Trail-following activity of the fungus garden materials to Odontotermes formosanus ( Isoptera: Termitidae) foragers
Abstract:Odontotermes formosanus is an important fungus-growing termite. In this paper, we investigated trail-following activity of extracts of fungus garden, trunk's outer epidermis of Liriodendron chinense× L. tulipifera and the pine wood powder infected by Gloeophyllum trabeum (PWG) to O. formosanus foragers. Trail-following response rate and selection coefficient of different materials were tested by using streak method. Tested materials included the top layer of fungus garden in main chamber (TFM), the middle layer of fungus garden in main chamber (MFM), the bottom layer of fungus garden in main chamber (BFM), the fungus garden in satellite chamber (FSC). Based on the result, the best reagent was determined. Furthermore, trail-following activities were compared between extraction from the fungus garden, TEL and PWG. Moreover, the concentration effects of extraction of fungus garden on the trail-following activity was also studied. The n-hexane extraction showed the highest trail-following activity to O. formosanus foragers, those resulting from ethyl alcohol, acetone and ethyl acetate varied irregularly, and that of distilled water extraction was of the lowest one. BFM has the highest trail-following activity among all tested fungus garden materials, so it is the best for extraction. The linear relationship between the concentration of n-hexane extracting solution(X) and trail-following response rate (Y) can be expressed by the equation y = 1.6958x3 - 13.346x2 + 30.137x + 33.409. The fungus garden in the chambers of O. formosanus has obviously trail-following activity to its foragers. The trail-following activity of fungus garden was much higher than that of field-collected materials (TEL) and similar with that of PWG. BFM showed the highest trail-following activity, TFM second, MFM and FSC were lowest, but even so there were not significant differences between them. As to the extraction of trail-following substances, the n-hexane was the best reagent. The active concentration range of n-hexane extraction to O. formosanus foragers was 0.125 CU-1.00 CU.
