受限环境下DNS服务发现的研究

摘要:物联网的飞速发展将使得数以百亿计的受限设备连入当今的互联网,发现受限网络节点和其相关服务是未来网络必不可少的重要功能。互联网中既有的服务发现技术DNS-SD/mDNS,虽然在灵活性和可扩展性等方面有显著优势,但不能有效应用于受限网络环境。本文在分析受限网络环境下服务发现功能特征的基础上,提出了扩展DNS服务发现的建议,描述了如何解决睡眠节点问题的新方案,评估了压缩DNS报文方法对性能的优化,最后通过实验进行了验证。

DNS Service Discovery Research In Constrained Environment
Abstract:With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoT), billions of constrained devices will connect to the Internet, so it is an essential function to discover constrained devices and related services for the future network. DNS-SD/mDNS is an Internet service discovery protocol, which has significant advantages in terms of flexibility and scalability, but can't be effectively applied to a constrained environment. This paper first analyzes the features of service discovery in constrained environment, then propose an extension of DNS service discovery.The extension DNS service discovery describes how to solve the sleep node problem and evaluates the method of DNS packet compression, finally give a verification.
