铝土矿真空碳热还原实验研究

摘要:铝土矿真空碳热还原氯化歧化分解制备金属铝方法是一种新型的非电解制铝方法。本文针对铝土矿真空碳热还原氯化歧化分解制备金属铝的真空碳热还原过程进行了实验研究。研究发现,铝土矿的真空脱水过程较常压下提前。在1473K~1573K温度范围内,发生二氧化硅与碳生成碳化硅的反应以及莫来石与碳生成碳化铝和碳化硅的反应,得到的碳化铝与碳化硅反应生成Al4SiC4。渣相中主要存在的物相为SiC、TiC、Fe3Si、Al4O4C和Al4SiC4。实验条件下Al4SiC4与Al4O4C不会发生反应。

Experimental study on the carbothermal reduction of bauxite in vacuum
Abstract:Aluminum produced by carbothermal reduction chlorination-disproportionation decomposition from bauxite is a new type of nonelectrolytic aluminum-production method. In this paper the thermal reduction process of bauxite was studied. Experimental results showed that bauxite dewatering process in vacuum is in advance under atmospheric pressure. In the temperature range of 1473K-1573K, after silica and mullite reacted with carbon, aluminum carbide and silicon carbide would be produced. Al4SiC4 was got because of the reaction between aluminum carbide and silicon carbide. The composition in slag phase was SiC, TiC, Fe3Si, Al4O4C and Al4SiC4. Under the experimental conditions the reaction between Al4SiC4 and Al4O4C didn't occur.
