末次冰消期万象洞石笋灰度的气候意义

摘要:末次冰消期万象洞石笋灰度时间变化序列主要受下渗水化学成分及水动力条件的控制。对比分析显示,万象洞石笋灰度记录在葫芦洞δ18O记录偏正的H-1时期逐渐增大,可能指示洞穴上覆植被土壤状况在该时期随着季风的强烈衰退而持续恶化,下渗水将更多的粘土及碎屑物质带下造成石笋沉积中杂质含量的增加,透光性减弱而反射光强度的增大,其长周期变化趋势可能指示了洞穴上覆植被土壤的变化。在高频波动特征上,石笋灰度的减小对应于与密度指数的增大,葫芦洞石笋δ18O记录的偏正,同时方解石晶型和晶体排列更加规则,杂质含量减少,可能反映了季风的突然衰退时洞穴滴水碳酸氢钙过饱和度的增加和水动力条件的减弱,说明在末次冰消期,季风的突然衰退可能造成了环境温度的大幅降低。

Stalagmite gray scale record from Wanxiang Cave during the last deglaciation and its climatic significance
Abstract:The Wanxiang Cave stalagmite gray scale during the last deglaciation is mainly controlled by the chemical component and the water dynamics of the seepage water. Through the comparison with the δ18O record from Hulu Cave which reflects the variation of the Asian monsoon strength, found that the gray scale turns higher corresponds to the high δ18O value of Hulu stalagmite during H-1, indicates that during this time period, responded to the dramatic retreat of the Asian monsoon, the soil and vegetation conditions kept turn worse, the seepage water carried down more clay and detrital materials, lead to the increase of impurity in the cave sediments, weakened the transmit and enhanced the reflection of the stalagmite. On the high frequency variations, the decrease of the gray scale corresponds to the increase of stalagmite density and the higher δ18O value of Hulu stalagmite records, meanwhile, the crystal style and arrangements turns more ordinarily, and impurity in the stalagmite also reduced, this may reflects the increase of super saturation and decrease of seepage water dynamics when the monsoon retreated abruptly, illustrated that during the last deglaciation, the abruptly retreat of the Asian monsoon may coupled with the dramatically drop of environment temperature.
