扇区分析法应用现状及其规范化--以城市扩展研究为例

摘要:作为一类基于扇形单元进行叠置统计与分析的GIS空间分析方法,扇区分析法虽在中国城市扩展研究领域获得了广泛应用,但其应用过程中的混乱局面一直困扰着后续使用者。从已发表的相关文献中筛选出171篇作为样本开展文献计量分析,从扇区划分、方法称谓、扇区编码、表达形式、统计参数5个方面,分析了此类方法在中国城市扩展研究中的混乱应用现状,并针对其中的共性问题给出了规范化建议,对推动该类方法进入标准化基本GIS空间分析方法行列具有一定参考价值。

Chaotic History and Standardization Future of Sector Analysis Model
Abstract:The sector analysis is a kind of spatial analysis method by taking the appropriate location as the center and the appropriate length as the radius, it divide the space object into specific number of fan-shaped sector regions, and then calculate some specific zonal statistical parameters, finally show the results in an appropriate form. The sector analysis is one of the common GIS spatial analysis methods in describing the directional characteristics. It has already been widely used in the research area of urban expansion especially in China. However, despite more than 10 years of development, there are still many problems in this method that plaguing researchers who want to make use of it. These problems mainly include the following aspects: the rule of sector partition, the appellation habits to this method, the rule of sector coding, the expression of statistical results, and the interpretation about statistical parameters. In other words, the standardization degree of the method is still not enough. Aiming at improving the maturity of this method, we screen 171 samples from more than 3000 academic literatures to study in this paper. In view of the above problems, we introduce the application status and development history of this method in the research area of urban expansion in China, and then analyze some common problems reflected in the application process of it. Finally, we offer following suggestions for improving this method: 1) Standardizing sectorization. The schema of 8-azimuth sector from the perspective of geography is more suitable for most cases, and the schema of 16-azimuth sector is applicable to some more complex situations. 2) Standardizing appellation form. 3) Standardizing sector coding. Using the geography based directional pronouns to encode the azimuth sector, and using the mathematics based sequence numbers to identify the quadrant sector. 4) Standardizing expression style. Using the form of expression that can correctly describe the orientation characteristics. 5) Standardizing statistical parameters. Arc should take priority over all other "reference fan" edge type. 6) Developing GIS sector analysis tools to simplify sector generation process. We believe that in order to drive sector analysis toward maturity, two key problems must be resolved, one is the confusion in recognition about the basic concept and basic logic framework, the other is the lack of GIS tools that can simplify the implementation process.)
