普通野生稻交配系统与种群大小的关系

摘要:普通野生稻(Oryza rufipogon Griff.)是亚洲栽培稻(O. sativa L.)的祖先种,是水稻育种极其重要的野生基因库。然而,近年来普通野生稻种群出现衰退甚至部分种群消失,亟待加强保护。为了探讨普通野生稻种群衰退的遗传后果,本研究运用SSR标记分析了其种群大小与交配系统(异交率)的关系。结果显示,普通野生稻异交率较高(平均多位点异交率tm=0.544),种群内存在不同程度的双亲近交,种群大小和异交率之间没有显著相关性,这提示普通野生稻的最小繁育种群较小,当前大小不同的种群具有同等保护价值。

Relatioship between mating system and population size in Common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon)
Abstract:Common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.), the ancestor of Asian cultivated rice (O. sativa L.) and the most important germplasm for rice improvement, is experimenting continus population decline due to habitat fragmentation. The present study was conducted to investigate the influence of population decling on mating systems of O. rufipogon using SSR assays. The results show that O. rufipogon populations have relatively high level of outcrossing rate (mean tm = 0.544) but considerable inbreeding depression within population. No significant relationship between outcrossing rate and population size was detcected,suggesting that O. rufipogon has relatively small breeding population and all the populations with different sizes have the same conservation values.
