利用角质额判别西北太平洋柔鱼种群结构

摘要:角质额是头足类主要的硬组织材料,具有重要的生态信息。本文根据2007年7-10月西北太平洋海域采集的柔鱼角质额上颚的形态数据,包括头盖长(UHL)、脊突长(UCL)、喙长(URL)、喙宽(URW)、侧壁长(ULWL)和翼长(UWL),对其种群结构以及性别差异进行初步划分。结果表明,划分得到的2个种群在角质颚形态指标上均存在有显著的统计学差异性,可根据角质颚形态学指标来建立判别函数;同时不同性别柔鱼的角质颚形态存在有明显的差异性。分析认为,利用角质颚形态学指标来判别2种群的效果略微优于胴体形态学指标。结果认为,利用角质额形态特征来判别西北太平洋柔鱼的种群结构具有可行性。

Population structure of neon flying squid based on the beak morphology in the northwest Pacific Ocean
Abstract:IBeak is one of the main hard tissue materials in cephalopod, which can provided important ecological information for us. According to the sampling squid, Ommastrephes batramii, collected by Chinese squid jigging vessel during July-October 2007 in the Northwest Pacific Ocean, the morphmetric characters of upper beak, including hood length (UHL), crest length (UCL), rostral length (URL), rostral width (URW), lateral wall length (ULWL) and wing length (UWL) are measured, and its population structure and sexual difference based on the beak morphmetric character are carried out. The results showed that the two populations divided by beak morphmetric character had the statistically significant differences, and the discriminant function for beak morphology can be established. It was also found that the discriminant result for two populations by using beak morphology is slightly better than that by using mantle morphological character. It is concluded that the beak morphology can be feasibly used to determine the population structure of Ommastrephes bartramii in the northwest Pacific Ocean.
